Home Sweet Home

I am back home in Maryland this weekend after a many busy weeks and weekends at school I just needed to escape to my own house, own room, and own big bed! I love school and living in my sorority house (I miss everyone already) but its nice to have some free time to spend with my family! Of course, I missed my middle sister Julie by one week!

While at home, I decided to take advantage of the much larger and better shopping selection and went to the mall!

I got this cute (and edgy) top at Gap and I love zipper details!

I finally got boots, I have been dieing to get a pair to wear with all my fall outfits!

Tomorrow I am going to the Ravens vs. Bills game in Baltimore and cannot wait to be back in M&T Bank Stadium to see my Ravens soar to victory. My dad has quite a tailgate ready and we are also going to the 10th anniversary of our Super Bowl win pregame before Kickoff!

Breast Cancer Awareness

October is Breast Care Awareness Month and it is so great to see so many different organizations create awareness and help raise money to find a cure.

One of the largest organizations to make a great statement is the NFL. Last year they started the campaign of wearing pink accessories. I think the huge audience this reaches is amazing!

Many stores create products where proceeds go to finding a cure! Some of my favorites include ...
"We Can Do It" - Essie Nail Polish
Ralph Lauren Pink Pony Campaign

The North Face Denali Pink Ribbon

Clinique Mositurizing Lotion & Key Chain with Lip Gloss

Vineyard Vines Pink Ribbon Tote

Dogearred Hope Necklace

My university's athletic department hold Breast Cancer Awareness Nights where the teams wear pink and the spectators get shirts, hats, ribbons, etc.
The shirt handed out last year for a BCA Volleyball Game!

BCBG Dresses

I absolutely love BCBG dresses, but with a college budget, they are more realistic to window shop than actually buy. I wore BCBG for my prom and the dress was classy, fit well, and of course pretty. Here are some of my favorites they have out now.

Love the Gold Shimmer!

\It's hard to see in this picture, but the ruffle detail on the bottom and corset like top is gorgeous.

Love the print and the shape is new and different.

Perfect for a winter party, classic black dress with some bling!

Love the skirt!

The print is so unique!

Love the necklace detail, cute and relaxed!

Ring Premiere

Last week was the Class of 2012 Ring Premiere for my university and I had a great time seeing my class ring.

My university is one of the few in the nation to redesign our class ring every year and has been an ongoing tradition since 1911. The Class of 2012 had our Ring Premiere, the 101st class to have one, to celebrate the unveiling of our personalized class ring.

Complete with cute shirts!

This is the BIG standard ring for the boys!
My favorite ladies ring, named loyalty, love the diamonds and I am considering adding my birthstone (emerlad) or a mother of pearl in the center.
This ladies ring is more like the traditional one for boys, which I love!

Our activity ring with all our university specific items! The other side has your school's (i.e. business) designs.

Can't wait for March, when we get our rings at The Class of 2012's Ring Dance!

Compliments & Happiness

We had a trainer come to our sorority today to talk about unity and respect and reminded all of us that no matter how small a compliment can make a big difference. And you never know when someone is having a bad day and that one nice remark will turn their frown upside down!

In spirit of compliments, I wanted to post some feel good pics from a great site called SayingImages.com and they are all about happiness!
